What is the difference between planetary gearbox and general gearbox

1. Conventional reducers have a large volume and low transmission efficiency, while planetary reducers have a compact structure, small return clearance, small size, easy installation, and high load-bearing capacity, making them widely used in servo, stepper, DC and other transmission systems.
2. Generally speaking, planetary reducers and planetary reducers have fine workmanship and high precision in terms of technology. The planetary reducer housing is made of ductile iron material, greatly improving the rigidity and seismic resistance of the housing.
3. Planetary reducers have a longer service life than ordinary reducers, and the noise generated during operation is relatively small. Because the maximum torque of a planetary gearbox can reach 2600000Nm, the gears are treated with carburizing and quenching technology to obtain a high hardness and wear-resistant material surface. After heat treatment, all teeth of the gears are ground.
4. On the basis of craftsmanship, the performance price ratio of planetary reducers seems more economical and affordable, but this mainly depends on the application requirements and the accuracy and torque of the reducer.
