Generally speaking, the gearbox needs to replace the lubricating oil after 220 hours of operation, and the lubricating oil replaced each time needs to be better than the previous one. It is particularly important to remove any remaining dirty oil before replacement. A gearbox that works continuously for 10 hours a day needs to be replaced every 3 months, and a gearbox that works continuously for 3 hours a day needs to have its lubricating oil replaced every 6 months. Do you know how to refuel a planetary gearbox?
1. Disconnect the connection with the motor or the main power supply, and then wait for the cooling to reach residual temperature (the gearbox should still be kept warm when changing the oil).
2. Place a suitable oil receiving plate at the bottom of the oil drain hole of the reducer.
3. Loosen and remove the oil injection hole plug, vent, and drain hole plug.
4. Drain all remaining lubricating oil from the gearbox and remove impurities such as metal particles from the chassis.
5. After draining, install the oil drain plug as it is (tighten it).
6. Write lubricating oil of the same brand from the oil injection hole, pay attention to the amount added, and increase according to the oil label. Do not add too much but also not too little.
7. After adding oil, tighten the oil injection hole plug and vent, etc.
Many people often make mistakes in the fourth step. It is important to remember that when refueling planetary gearboxes, the remaining lubricating oil in the equipment must be removed before adding new lubricating oil to ensure the quality of the oil.
