  The FX250 uses Pepperl + Fuchs R2000 and R2100 series LiDAR sensors with pulse ranging technology (PRT). The R10x photoelectric sensor uses multi-pixel technology (MPT). The 70 series ultrasonic sensors enable reliable and accurate navigation, positioning, collision avoidance and other objects. Perceived tasks.

 
The R2000 lidar sensor is used for navigation and has a 360° scan angle around the AGV to provide highly accurate measurements to the AGV controller. The controller uses this data to build a map of the environment around the robot and to locate the robot's absolute position in the map. The R2000's extremely high sample rate (up to 25,000 measurements in a single scan) detects and identifies the smallest object features, further enhancing the iconic extraction capabilities in synchronous positioning and mapping (SLAM) implementations.
 
The R2100 LiDAR sensor is located at the rear of the AGV for anti-collision and navigation support when driving the AGV in reverse. Multiple wide beam emitters ensure reliable detection of objects at wide 88° scan angles.
 
New objects and obstacles, such as people or open doors leading to stairwells, may appear in the set path of the commercial floor cleaning robot. Pepperl + Fuchs R10x Photoelectric Sensors and Series 70 Ultrasonic Sensors ensure smooth navigation while the FX250 performs automatic cleaning tasks. The R10x sensor ensures no change in the ground and provides reliable cliff detection through MPT. This leaves the AGV out of the stairwell and platform. Ultrasonic sensors are used to estimate the propagation of ultrasonic signals from the sensor to the object. The measured object distance can be provided by various signals through an interface, such as an analog signal, a binary switching signal, or a digital form. Regardless of the signal, object detection is always reliable and accurate.
 
These highly configurable Series 70 ultrasonic sensors are tightly mounted on the front panel of the FX250 to provide robots with accurate object detection without crosstalk. This is possible because the sensor's synchronous input function allows the sensors to be easily mounted together to increase sensing capability without mutual interference. With adjustable beam widths, these sensors provide the flexibility of Discovery Robotics, giving the FX250 the flexibility to navigate obstacles in commercial structures such as airports, convention centers and retail warehouses.
 
Pepperl + Fuchs LiDAR and ultrasonic sensors help the FX250 cover 10,000 square feet per hour with a cleaning success rate of over 95%. When the FX250 completes its cleaning task, its sensing technology can safely direct it back to where the user assigned his storage location.
